How is sex and love configured within the boundaries of the bible?
As a Catholic, I was always aware of fornication, and the sin of that action. But as
human beings we are in fact sexual beings, and while that incurs responsibility. How does anyone live up to the standards of the bible, when even masturbation is unlawful? Atheists, I respectfully ask that you bow out of my question, I have no intention of disavowing my belief in God, or a higher power.

No one can live up to the standards of the Bible....Jesus however did. Being born-again and being made righteous by faith, and having a new heart that hates sin and loves righteousness is essential.
Ye must be born again.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
